Salt Beads

1/2 cup salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. powdered alum

Slowly add just enough water to make a paste. Color to suit preference. Place all in a double boiler and cook until thick. Work and mold into desires shapes (ovals, round, square or triangles). When done, pierce and string to make jewelry.
